Faculty engagement with equity-minded assessment is critical to closing equity gaps related to student success; however, there are several barriers faculty face in implementing such practices at both course and curricular levels. To address some of these challenges, a faculty Assessment Learning Community (ALC) was developed to provide financial resources, targeted guidance and support, context-specific strategies, and to encourage collaborative peer learning and support. This manuscript highlights lessons learned from the first two years of the ALC and provides a blueprint for other higher education institutions with similar goals and challenges.
