Pt-decorated nanoporous gold (Pt-NPG) leaf was prepared by depositing an atomically thin layer of Pt over NPG substrate where Pt overlayers grow epitaxially on NPG surfaces. Their catalytic properties toward methanol and CO electrooxidation were studied, and they show structure-sensitive activities and a greatly enhanced antipoisoning effect.
