Lithium Metal Anodes In the Research Article (e14924), Byungseok Seo, Wonjoon Choi, and co-workers illustrate how crystal facet orientation regulates lithium metal deposition. The contrast between stable, uniform plating on semipolar (101) facets and dendritic growth on polar (002) facets is highlighted. By employing electrothermal-wave processing to engineer these ZnO interfacial facets, dendrite formation is effectively suppressed, ensuring excellent cycling stability and capacity retention in full-cell configurations.
