Key Points

  • The goal is to explore the ψ₀-theory to address cosmological issues like dark energy and dark matter.
  • Utilized ψ₀-theory, a quantized Klein-Gordon scalar field in FLRW cosmology.
  • Assumed Compton wavelength equals Hubble radius, λ_C = R_H.
  • Predictions are set to be tested with DESI DR3, Euclid, and LiteBIRD.
  • Proposes a natural solution to the Λ-problem via the Cohen-Kaplan-Nelson bound.
  • Identifies dark energy as thawing quintessence and dark matter as background wave excitations.
  • Predicts testable outcomes with future astronomical observations.

Abstract

We present the ψ₀-theory (“Universal Ground Oscillation”) — a quantized Klein-Gordon scalar field in FLRW cosmology with the single postulate that its Compton wavelength equals the Hubble radius (λC = RH). From this assumption follow a natural solution to the Λ-problem via the Cohen-Kaplan-Nelson bound, dark energy as a thawing quintessence, and dark matter as multi-mode excitations of the same background wave. The theory makes concrete, falsifiable predictions testable with DESI DR3, Euclid, and LiteBIRD.
