To facilitate the interpretation and comparison of cardiac tomographic images, the American Heart Asso- ciation, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and the Amer- ican College of Cardiology recommend that a standard- ized nomenclature and display of these images be adopted by all centers performing single photon emis- sion computed tomographic (SPECT), positron emis- sion tomographic (PET), magnetic resonance (MRI), and cine computed tomographic (CT) imaging.SPECT Images Nomenclature
