Insights into the lithiation mechanism of CFx by a joint high-resolution ¹⁹F NMR, in situ TEM and ⁷Li NMR approach

Lithiation reaction mechanism of CFx is revealed, determining that the fluorinated carbon with low fluorination level is produced along with carbon and LiF. Furthermore, the nucleation and growth processes of formed LiF are illustrated.
