The Concept of the Interethnic Accord in Interethnic Relations Surveys in the Region(based on Social Research in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra)

The article describes the methodology of empirical research of the state of interethnic relations as the basis of operational political analysis. The authors propose the conceptualization and definition of the concept of “interethnic harmony”. This made it possible to single out a group of factors that are the prerequisites for interethnic accord in the region, which were used as variables during a sociological survey in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The use of cluster analysis made it possible to create a map of the interethnic accord status across the region municipalities.
