A definition of gravitation is given: “Gravity is the property of elasticity of space – its ability and the desire of the grains of space to restore their original geometry, deformed by the mass of the object.” A quantitative and integral characteristic of the elasticity of space is the Gravitational constant G=6.67*10-11 N*m2/kg2. The curvature of space by mass is not only a theoretical assumption in Albert Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity”, but also a real physical phenomenon. The nature of the curvature of the 3-dimensional fabric of space is shown and the mechanism of curvature is partially revealed. Notion “Quantum gravitation” is absolutely correct in that space itself consists of electromagnetic quanta. The proposed model does not provide for the need for the exchange between masses of particles “Graviton, VIMP, Axion” or others. The mutual attraction between the masses is due to their competition for changing the inter-mass geometry of space-time in favor of each of the masses.
