According to various international reports, artificial intelligence in education is currently an emerging field in educational technology. In this paper, we analyzed 610 articles included in web of science in this field from 2002-2022 using Citespace software, and the results show that the number of articles issued is on a growing trend and the current research heat is rising; keyword analysis shows that the hot spots of research are focused on the transformation of teachers' roles in the era of AI, educational applications of AI tools, AI-driven teachers From the frontier evolution, the future international research on the application of AI to teachers' teaching will develop in the direction of practical knowledge and multidisciplinary integration, and will pay more attention to the role of AI in shaping teachers' personal teaching ability. The study has implications for the selection of topics and frontier identification for future research.
