The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the workplace has garnered increasing attention for its potential to enhance employee well-being and work engagement. This study aims to investigate the impact of AI experience on the well-being and work engagement of employees in Indonesian organizations. The research seeks to fill a gap in understanding the psychological and emotional effects of AI exposure on employees, particularly in the context of workplace dynamics. A nationwide survey was conducted across Indonesia, collecting data from a diverse sample of employees to assess how their experiences with AI influence their well-being and engagement at work. The study finds that positive AI experiences are associated with increased well-being and work engagement, with AI exposure helping to alleviate stress and improve emotional health, which in turn enhances job satisfaction and productivity. However, the cross-sectional nature of the study introduces limitations in terms of generalizability and causality. The research highlights the importance of designing AI systems that prioritize employee well-being, which can foster higher engagement and contribute to organizational success. Future studies should expand to longitudinal designs and broader geographical regions to further validate these findings. This work contributes to a deeper understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of AI on employees, offering valuable insights for organizations aiming to optimize AI systems for both productivity and employee welfare.
