Ideology is a basic idea that stands for the thought processes and viewpoints that direct the actions of both individuals and groups. It is essential to the formation of collective identities in contemporary society. Ideological frameworks have a major impact on social dynamics, which include processes of change, stability, and interaction among many social forces. These processes help to develop, maintain, or alter group identities over time. With an emphasis on how ideology affects the development, stability, or evolution of collective identity within the framework of contemporary society, this study attempts to offer a thorough examination of the relationship between ideology and social dynamics. Based on an examination of fundamental ideas and both traditional and modern theories found in the domains of social theory and social psychology, the study drew upon theoretical analysis and a review of specialist literature. According to the study's findings, ideology is crucial in establishing shared beliefs and viewpoints and plays a major part in maintaining a group's identity or starting transition processes. Additionally, the analysis showed how ideology interacts with political and cultural elements to help groups better solidify or modify their identities in accordance with historical and social trends. Gaining an understanding of ideology is crucial for elucidating the processes of collective identity stability and change, which improves the researcher's capacity to conduct theoretically sound analyses of social phenomena.
