"Watching The Pain of Others" is a videographic diary that narrates my intellectual, affective and bodily experiences as I researched the film The Pain of Others (Penny Lane, 2018). The video stands as the story of a research journey and as a performative audiovisual experiment where viewers are invited to reflect upon their own spectatorial mechanisms.
