Demonstrates secure decentralized voting with enhanced transparency and auditability.
Abstract:EtherVote is a decentralized electronic voting platform engineered on the Ethereum blockchain. The system leverages Solidity smart contracts, a Python FastAPI authentication backend, Web3.js for blockchain interaction, and the Truffle framework for smart contract deployment. The platform addresses major limitations of conventional voting systems including fraud susceptibility, lack of transparency, centralized control, and delayed result processing. Votes are stored as immutable blockchain transactions, ensuring auditability, transparency, and tamper resistance. EtherVote integrates JWT-based authentication, role-based access control, and real-time vote tallying to provide a secure and trustworthy decentralized voting framework.
