Project: W≡0 Universal Topological Unified Field TheoryStage Affiliation: Phase Three · Sub-paper 2 (Paper 3.3) Abstract Time is the most fundamental and mysterious core concept in physics. Since Newton established the classical mechanical system, all physical theories have taken time as an undefined basic parameter. Newton regarded time as an independent entity flowing uniformly and absolutely, while relativity unified time and space into a four-dimensional geometric manifold. However, neither theory can interpret the ontological origin, unidirectionality and irreversible essence of time from the perspective of first principles. This fundamental defect not only confines the Second Law of Thermodynamics to phenomenological statistical laws, but also triggers a series of in-depth theoretical contradictions such as the time travel paradox and the conflicts between quantum and classical time views. Taking the universal topological polarity conservation axiom as the sole first principle, this paper adopts axiomatic deduction, topological dynamics and pure topological fiber bundle theory without introducing any empirical parameters or artificial hypotheses, and systematically constructs the axiomatic system of time essence. The core conclusions are as follows: time is not an independently existing physical entity, but a dimensionalized expression of the propagation direction of universal polarity gradients; the unidirectionality of time originates from the topological irreversibility of polarity gradient propagation, and the Second Law of Thermodynamics is the macroscopic statistical manifestation of polarity gradient dissipation; time and three-dimensional space share the same origin in the polarity field, and they achieve topological coupling via polarity gradient fields. The relativistic spacetime view is a geometric approximation of this topological coupling mechanism. This research fundamentally solves the century-old essential problem of time in physics from the perspective of first principles, establishes a unified ontological theory of spacetime topology, and lays a solid theoretical foundation for subsequent four-dimensional topological spacetime modeling, first-principle calculation of fundamental physical constants and the unification of quantum and classical physics.
