Codebook documents variables in a merged survey dataset fielded across six countries, indicating data collection methods.
This codebook documents all variables in the ENDURE merged survey dataset (see the Public datasets, and also the related Survey Descriptive Report). The survey was fielded in six countries: Brazil, Croatia, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States from December 2024 to February 2025. Respondents were recruited by Qualtrics in all countries except Brazil, where data was collected by Netquest in October and November 2024. See the public datasets The codebook is organized by country. The United States section serves as the master reference, documenting all variables including those available only in specific countries. Each subsequent country section presents question text and response labels in the original language as administered to respondents. The structural framing (section headers, notes, and display logic) remains in English throughout. The merged dataset contains one row per respondent across all six countries. Variables that appear only in certain countries are blank for countries where they do not apply.
