The importance of physical training for maintaining high combat readiness has always been closely related to the nature and method of warfare, which are also determined by the military means available to the army. Therefore, the optimization of the physical training process and its special military-applied orientation has always received the necessary attention. The military-applied nature of physical training in various higher military education institutions is essentially a learning process that enriches the individual fund of professionally useful skills, the development of physical and directly related abilities, which directly or indirectly affect the professional capacity of graduates. The scientific article is devoted to the research and study of the issues of training a reliable military specialist, which, in turn, should include not only a perfect mastery of professional skills, but also have a sufficiently high level of development of physiological mechanisms of movement control, placing, on the one hand, high demands on the theoretical basis of the basics of professional training, and on the other - the development of the basics of special physical training, which achieves a high functional readiness of a specialist for professional activity.
