One of the biggest challenges health professionals face when counselling patients about medication use in pregnancy is accessibility to evidence‐based information on the risks or benefits associated with treatment. There is inadequate information available regarding the immediate and long‐term effects of medications used by pregnant women on the mother and the fetus. The technology, data and expertise are available to make it happen.
