The article highlights the meaning of motor activity for the harmonious development of schoolchildren, the negative impact of insufficient physical activity on students' bodies was noted. The tendency is pointed out to a decrease in the level of motor activity among students, which due to various factors, including quarantine restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the legal regime of martial law, the use of digital technologies by students technologies, as well as an increase in the time allocated to studying and social and social media. It has been established that the majority of pupils evaluate their motor activity during the day as average (52.3%) and high (15.3%), 13.4% indicated low physical activity during the day and 19.0% could not estimate it. Are involved in the classes of specially organized physical activity after school hours 20.4% of pupils, 38.9% of pupils do it on their own from time to time, very rarely on their own 21.8% of pupils do physical exercises, never do physical exercises - 18.9% of middle school students. It was found that 16.7% of middle school students lead a healthy lifestyle, 19.0% of respondents think they lead a healthy rather than an unhealthy lifestyle, 22.2% of respondents believe that their lifestyle is unhealthy rather than healthy, 13.4% of middle school students indicated that they lead an unhealthy lifestyle, and 28.7% of respondents were undecided. According to students of middle school age, a healthy lifestyle depends mostly on the following factors on the following factors: giving up bad habits (35.7%), a rational balanced diet (28.7%), the absence of diseases (22.2%), a sufficient level of physical activity (21.3%), an optimal study and rest schedule (16.7%), physical exercise (15.7%), and а good night's sleep (9.7%).
