Supports brief post-MI cardiac rehab for capacity gains; confirms RCT efficacy in functional recovery.
The primary purpose of this study was to determine the methods and means of prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease. In this study, we used a new regimen on heart rate and functional capacity of patients after myocardial infarction. This study also determines the effect of a new regimen on these factors.

Parvand et al. (2016) conducted a cross-sectional in Myocardial infarction (n=40). Cardiac rehabilitation exercise regimen vs. Pre-intervention baseline was evaluated on Functional capacity (METS) (p=<0.05). A 10-session cardiac rehabilitation program significantly increased functional capacity from 13.19 to 24.42 METS (P<0.05) in patients after myocardial infarction.
