Report outlines methodologies for public engagement activities, highlighting knowledge co-creation with communities.
This report presents the methodologies developed within the framework of Task 5.3 of the CIRAN project, “Engagement and Dialogue for Knowledge Co-Creation”, aimed at engaging and co-creating knowledge with citizens. This task primarily involved the organisation of focus groups and public dialogues across six established communities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal, France, and Ireland. The methodologies outline each step necessary for the successful organisation of both activities, along with all related materials. For the public dialogues, a role-play exercise developed under WP3 was embedded and tested in one community. The report also presents the results of these activities, which will inform Work Package 6 and contribute to the development of policy recommendations.
