There is an absence of the intersection between class and Indigenous nations, and this is compounded by an absence of the acknowledgement of the intersection between rurality and class. It is as if class, or particularly the working and poorer classes, are only accepted as being urban and of the more recent occupants of lands. This article looks at the major implications for overcoming the intersection between class and indigenous discrimination by learning from and adopting some indigenous approaches so that there is less of a gap between access to opportunities. It also examines what banning class discrimination, both nationally and globally, would achieve.
