A Likert-type scale measuring attitudes toward nuclear disarmament has been developed. An item analysis study (N = 93) yielded 21 items with part-whole correlations ≥ .75. The reliability study (N = 94) produced a corrected splithalf correlation coefficient of .84 (p ≤ .001). The scale also differentiated between known groups (N = 64, t = 10.59, p ≤ .001) and several sociopolitical measures (N = 77).
