The Secure and Privacy-Preserving Opportunistic Computing (SPOC) framework is a novel mobile healthcare system tailored for emergency scenarios that require real-time processing and transmission of Personal Health Information (PHI). By leveraging opportunistic computing, SPOC enables nearby devices to collaboratively share computational and storage resources, ensuring reliable and efficient PHI handling. The framework incorporates advanced cryptographic techniques and user-centric privacy access controls to safeguard sensitive health data, minimizing the risks of unauthorized access, data tampering, and eavesdropping. A balance is maintained between efficiency and privacy, allowing the system to address high-intensity PHI tasks without compromising confidentiality. Extensive security analyses demonstrate SPOC’s resilience against external threats, while performance evaluations highlight its scalability and reliability under various emergency conditions. Future research aims to validate the framework's practicality through smartphone-based experiments, enhancing its robustness against internal attackers who may deviate from protocols. Additional efforts will focus on integrating trust management systems to detect malicious behavior and employing machine learning techniques for predictive analysis and dynamic resource allocation. By addressing critical challenges in emergency healthcare, the SPOC framework paves the way for secure, reliable, and efficient mobile healthcare systems that prioritize patient privacy and data integrity in life-critical situations.
