Preprint reports migration and validation of Solana Testbed observability core in Kubernetes, indicating improved deployment structure.
This preprint reports the migration and validation of the Solana Containerised Testbed Observability Core from a Compose-based microservice deployment to a Kubernetes-based deployment. The implementation maps the validator to a StatefulSet, the validator ledger to a PersistentVolumeClaim, wallet initialisation to a Job, and the monitor to a Deployment. Stable Services are used for RPC, Yellowstone/Geyser gRPC, and metrics endpoints. The validation was performed on a CentOS 9 host using KVM and Minikube on a legacy no-AVX2 x86_64 server. A dedicated wallet transfer validation Job confirmed that a simple SOL transfer can be executed through the Kubernetes RPC endpoint.
