Moyra Simon from Cameron Archaeology carried out a watching brief over groundworks at Plots 11 and 12 Fordoun Road, Laurencekirk on 26th May 2023. Traces of rig and furrow cultivation were located and a field drain. Two possible worked quartzite artefacts were recovered.
