Community evaluation discovers artefacts and fosters engagement through talks and visits.
A small community based evaluation was undertaken within the Kelso Abbey precinct, in relation to a proposed community orchard being planted. Results from the evaluation revealed no archaeological features however a number of medieval and post-medieval artefacts were recovered. A series of school visits and community talks were undertaken.
