A planning application had been submitted for the redevelopment of the site, which involved the demolition of the redundant farm buildings to allow the construction of new houses. Service This survey has been requested by the West Yorkshire Archaeology Advisory Service intended for demolition. to record the form and appearance of the buildings The survey comprised medium format record photography and 35mm colour Slide. This report contains a summary of the work undertaken, the photographs taken, photographic registers and a copy of the recording specification. The survey has established that the farm comprises 4 main phases of development spanning the 18-20th centuries. The form and layout of the buildings are typical of the region and indicate it most likely functioned as an arable farmstead, utilising working horses.
