Because Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is amultidisciplinary field, many researchers in the area believeit is necessary to develop a more homogenous and rigorousapproach to CALL research and development. This paperdiscusses the current state-of-the-art in in the field andproposes a more inclusive approach to design and implementCALL projects.
