Eye Signs in Hepatic Cirrhosis

A SURVEY was designed to test the clinical impression that lid retraction and lid lag, sometimes associated with apparent proptosis, were present with unusual frequency in patients with hepatic cirrhosis. These ocular signs are identical with those characterizing part of the noninfiltrative component of the ophthalmopathy of Graves's disease.
