Abstract

This report is submitted as part of the deliverables of the Baseline Study for Future Impact Evaluation for Informal Settlements Targeted for Upgrading as specified in the service level agreement between the National Department of Human Settlements (DHS) and the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). The report comprises of how the household questionnaire data were collected and edited from the field, checked and captured as well as how the final dataset was cleaned and verified.
