Analyzes open access rates in academic publications, supporting transparency in Open Science policies.
This talk presents the Open Access Publications Dashboard of the University of Milan, a tool that provides a set of charts that track open access rates for the institution’s main academic publications over the past ten years. The types considered are preprints, articles, chapters, books, critical editions, and portal publications deposited in the AIR institutional repository, and different kinds of open access are taken into consideration (e.g. diamond, gold, hybrid, green). The goal of the dashboard is to support transparency, assessment, and the advancement of Open Science policies of the University.
