Rapid urbanization and increasing complexities in urban management highlight the need for advanced tools in planning and design. Operating in an information-driven era, urbanism requires technology-based systems to support optimal decision-making within constrained timeframes. This study introduces and evaluates a data-driven, interactive system designed to support urban decision-making, using Tehran's Narmak neighborhood as a case study. Employing field observations and spatial data analysis, the findings indicate that the system enables essential functions, including dynamic 3D visualization (e.g., regulatory plans, design controls, 3D cadastre), real-time data reporting, and enhanced public engagement. Furthermore, it seamlessly integrates with other urban planning tools, amplifying its practical applications. While this system shows substantial promise in fostering smart, sustainable urban development, limitations due to data availability suggest that more comprehensive datasets are needed for future work.
