Investigates neutrino behavior with artificial sources, suggesting important implications for particle physics.
The paper describes experiments on the the Gallium-Germanium Neutrino Telescope (GGNT) at the BNO INR RAS gallium target with artificial neutrino sources. In the BEST-2 experiment with the ⁵⁸ Co source, the gallium anomaly will be investigated, including neutrino transitions to sterile states. In experiments with antineutrino sources ¹⁷⁰ Tm and ⁹⁰ Sr, transitions between neutrinos and antineutrinos will be searched for. If the outcome is positive, the cause of the transitions will be determined—either CPT violations or neutrino decay. Decay into 2 particles will indicate the Majorana nature of neutrinos.
