We test the predictions of various gauge models for weak-neutral-current interactions by comparing them with experimental results on inclusive and elastic neutrino interactions. The Weinberg-Salam model is in fair agreement with the data; however, vectorlike theories can be ruled out. We also consider certain gauge models with five or six quarks and one or two right-handed doublets, and find that they fit the data rather well.
