A protective garment patch GPS antenna, for wearable textile systems applications, was designed and, for the first time in literature, realized in fire‐resistant and water‐repellent textile materials, making it particularly suitable for integration into rescue workers' garments. Measurements show that the antenna still performs adequately even when covered with protective textiles, and when integrated into a jacket, worn on the human body.
