With this issue, we are introducing a series of papers on ‘Tourism and animal ethics’, a somewhat obscure though significant theme. The series will include discussion on animal ethics: rights, welfare, etc. David Fennell comes up with the inaugural contribution and takes up one of the five main theories that frame the debate on animal ethics. Readers are welcome to send their opinion (1000 words) for our Readers' Response column which is open to constructive criticism that advances knowledge on this subject.
