Research on the Application of Artificial Intelligence Painting in Digital Media Illustration Design

With the development and maturity of electronic technology and the popularization of the internet, computer art has rapidly developed. Digital media illustration art design inherits and develops traditional illustration art based on its own characteristics, resulting in many new expression styles. This article attempts to conduct research on the application of AI (Artistic Intelligence) painting in digital media illustration design. AI includes symbol systems, expert systems, machine learning, and DL, all of which enable machines to have automated intelligent algorithms. The DL (Deep Learning) algorithm utilizes neural networks to represent data. The research results show that in the accuracy testing, it is evident that the method proposed in this paper has the highest accuracy, up to 95.5%, followed by GA (Genetic Algorithm) with an accuracy of 68.5%, and finally DM (Data Mining) with an accuracy of 59.8%. So applying this method to digital media illustration design is feasible and has achieved the best performance. It can be seen that using AI painting can create anytime and anywhere, which greatly facilitates artists and promotes the development of illustration art.
