Demonstrates effective EMI shielding and photothermal conversion in nanoarchitectures, suggesting multifunctional applications in diverse environments.
A 3D graphene/nickel nanoparticle (Ni NP)/polypyrrole (PPy) ternary nanoarchitecture is fabricated via laser direct writing and pulse electrodeposition. By tailoring the PPy nanocoating to optimize interfacial impedance matching and intensify nanoscale polarization, the composite achieves an outstanding electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMI SE) of 83.3 dB and an absolute SE (SSE/t) of 20512.8 dB·cm2·g–1. Furthermore, the interconnected 3D network demonstrates efficient low-voltage Joule heating (161.4 °C at 3 V) and photothermal conversion (71.3 °C under 1.5 kW m–2). This multifunctional nanostructure offers a robust strategy for integrating high-performance EMI shielding with outdoor anti-icing/deicing and localized thermal management in cold environments.
