-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition between spirovinylcyclopropyl-2-oxindoles and aurones has been developed, providing direct access to aurone-fused bis-spirooxindoles bearing four contiguous stereocenters. Using dppp as the ligand in acetonitrile, the protocol tolerates a broad range of substrates and delivers rigid, three-dimensional architectures of potential medicinal relevance. The method features operational simplicity, scalability, and compatibility with diverse functional groups, offering a valuable platform for the synthesis of complex spirocyclic frameworks.
