Shows improved power management in ADN-MG systems, indicating enhanced efficiency.
Distributed generators (DGs) are mostly connected to the active distribution networks (ADNs) through microgrids (MGs) or microgrid clusters (MGCs) to support the power balance of the ADNs. Real‐time power dispatching between ADNs and the MGs is a major research hotspot and difficulty in current ADN‐MG cooperation systems. This paper proposes a hierarchical cooperation power management strategy of ADN‐MG system, which consists of the power dispatching between ADN and MGC in the upper control layer and the power sharing among all DGs within MGCs in the lower layer. In the upper control layer, a modified distributed non‐iterative optimization scheme is proposed to adjust the power output of each MG in the MGCs with consensus incremental cost, such that the power dispatch instructions issued by the ADN can be quickly tracked. In the lower layer, a discrete‐time distributed power sharing scheme is proposed for each DG in all MGs, where the power outputs of all DGs among different MGs can be shared proportionally. The stability of the proposed hierarchical cooperation power management strategy is analysed in detail, which indicates that the convergence speed and accuracy of the power cooperation between ADNs and MGs can be greatly improved. The effectiveness of the proposed hierarchical cooperation power management strategy is verified by using the IEEE 33 node standard test model.
