Study clarifies oxygen-adsorption-doping in two-dimensional materials, indicating further understanding of their electrical properties.
Two-dimensional materials exhibit excellent electrical and optical properties, which can be modified by molecular adsorption doping. Oxygen adsorption doping is believed to proceed via a water-mediated electrochemical mechanism, but detailed studies are limited. In this study, we vary the chemical potentials of the relevant components to clarify their roles in oxygen-adsorption-doping on two-dimensional materials.
