In order to optimize the design and application of English teaching resources in colleges and universities, and to build a highly efficient and interactive learning environment, the study builds a multi-level teaching resource system based on virtual context technology, covering system architecture, content modules, interactive interface and evaluation and feedback mechanism, and realizes intelligent resource optimization by combining deep learning and data analysis methods. The results show that the virtual context teaching mode is significantly better than traditional teaching in terms of learning effectiveness, learning engagement and learning experience, especially in oral communication and listening comprehension. There are differences in the adaptability of the system for students with different learning styles, with visual learners performing better. The proposed system demonstrates 23.7% higher learning retention (p< 0. 0 5, Cohen’s d=1. 3 2) and 4 1. 2 % faster skill acquisition (p(<)0.01) compared to Coursera’s language courses. Particularly in speaking fluency (WPM improvement 29.3 ± 4.7 vs 18.2 ± 5.1) and listening accuracy (87.4 % ± 3.2 vs 72.1 % ± 6.8), showing statistically significant advantages.
