This paper introduces Divine Leadership as a novel theoretical paradigm that anchorsleadership authority in sacred revelation rather than human consensus. Building on theologicalfoundations from Abrahamic traditions (Augustine's City of God V.24; Qur'an 32:24), theframework proposes a leadership that is developed from divine tradition. The theory advancesbeyond existing spiritual (Fry, 2003) and ethical (Hassan et al., 2013) leadership models byintroducing a transcendent source of knowledge. I argue that this paradigm offers uniquesolutions to contemporary leadership crises of legitimacy and motivation while providing ascaffold for future empirical testing. The paper concludes with research propositions to guidesubsequent quantitative and qualitative validation.
