Across several indicators of psychosocial adjustment, psychiatric and Substance abuse symptoms, and mental health service costs, standard mental health care augmented by the behavioral skills intervention model was more effective in improving client outcomes and reducing total service costs for those with dual disorders than case management or modified twelve‐step recovery.
