The article examines current challenges and opportunities in the field of personnel management in the agro-industrial complex (AIC). Existing methods, forms and approaches to human resources management are analyzed, with an emphasis on the need to adapt them to the conditions of digitalization and a dynamically changing external environment. The central place is occupied by the use of a qualimetric approach to assessing, accounting and optimizing remuneration systems, which allows for an objective assessment of the contribution of each employee and stimulating increased productivity. A detailed consideration of the principles of qualimetry adapted to the specifics of the AIC is proposed in order to improve the efficiency of personnel management, motivate employees and ensure the competitiveness of enterprises. It is concluded that qualimetry makes it possible to compare integral assessments before and after changes, which allows you to see how much the remuneration system has improved.
