ABSTRACT An Allis-Chalmers N6 combine was instrumented with a grain flowmeter and location detection equipment. The installed data acquisition system was used to develop grain yield maps that showed in-field variations as a function of location in the field. An analysis methodology was developed to produce the maps by smoothing the location and grain flowrate data and reconstructing the yield from the flow into the combine's grain tank.
