Veterinary Anatomy Education: Challenges Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

practical exposure is lacking. We conducted online theory assessment and practical examination viva voce of the first-year students. After their evaluation, I could perceive that the students may have benefited during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of relaxed evaluation; however, behind the scenes, the reality is a compromise on the hands-on practical knowledge of aspiring veterinarians. At the present moment, as I narrate our story reflecting on the past 9 months in the virtual world of veterinary anatomy, in the back of my mind, I eagerly await our return to the D-hall "where death laughs to teach the living." 4( p.175)
