Abstract

Frankiaceae fam. nov. is proposed with the type genus Frankia. It includes in the genus Frankia one new combination, F. elaeagni and six new species, F. discariae, F. casuarinae, F. coriariae, F. dryadis, F. purshiae and F. cercocarpi.
