The article analyzes the impact of the Middle East crisis on the global oil and gas market. The state of the global oil market in conditions of geopolitical instability is examined. The importance of the Strait of Hormuz for the transportation of oil and petroleum products as well as liquefied natural gas (LNG) for fuel-producing and fuel-consuming countries is emphasized. The possibility of exporting oil from the Persian Gulf countries bypassing the Strait of Hormuz is considered. An assessment is made of the impact of the Middle East crisis on the global LNG market. Particular attention is given to the problem of rising fuel prices in the current geopolitical situation. The significant role of fuel from the Persian Gulf countries for the economies of European and Asian countries is noted. It is substantiated that if the conflict continues until the fall of 2026, India and China, the largest consumers of Middle Eastern oil and LNG, could find themselves in a difficult situation. It is emphasized that the United States views the crisis in the Middle East as a tool for strengthening its influence in the global energy market. It is concluded that the conflict in the Middle East affects not only the regional security, but also leads to a global economic crisis.
