An alternative proof of the generalized reciprocity theorem for charge collection

An alternative proof is given of the generalized reciprocity theorem for charge collection discussed by Misiakos and Lindholm [J. Appl. Phys. 58, 4743 (1985)]. The present analysis directly yields an equation for the distribution of the charge collection probability in quasi-neutral regions of a semiconductor device and the associated boundary conditions.
